# Strong together for equal opportunities in our education

Our **future** depends on the **education** of our **children** .

### With the right and sufficient support, kindergartens can effectively combat social disadvantage.

1\. Social disadvantage

Social background shapes educational opportunities – only 20% of children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds currently attend a grammar school.\*

2\. Kindergartens with great influence

90% of children attend kindergarten, but kindergartens often lack the financial resources to ensure optimal care and educational preparation.

_"I have been working as a kindergarten teacher for 12 years. In our daycare center, approximately_ _**100 children are lovingly cared for**_ every day _and their development is supported._

_However, this support requires_ _**age-appropriate materials**_ _and_ _**attractive equipment**__._ _My colleagues and I strive to_ _**accommodate all children within the legal framework.**_ _The_ children's _**daily smiles**_ _are priceless and_ _**make this work so special.**_

_These facts require not only the_ _**personal resources**_ _of each employee, but_ _**also financial resources**_ _**."**_
